COPILA operates through five strategic pillars designed to tackle the unique challenges of the Sudur Pashchim region — from the classroom to the hillside.
Education
Our flagship API Education Project identifies gifted youth from the remote, hilly regions of Sudur Pashchim and funds a full 6-year academic pathway — Grade 11 and 12, followed by a 4-year Bachelor's degree. Every scholarship covers admission, tuition, hostel accommodation, and meals.

Environment
We run reforestation drives and climate-awareness campaigns to protect the fragile biodiversity of the Himalayan foothills, working alongside local farmers on sustainable land-use practices.
Women & Girls Empowerment
Through leadership training, rights advocacy, and vocational skill-building, we help women and girls in Sudur Pashchim break socio-economic barriers and build independent livelihoods.
Health
Our health teams organize community-led camps in hard-to-reach villages and run initiatives to end period poverty by distributing sanitary items in rural schools.
Art Projects
COPILA preserves the unique cultural heritage of Sudur Pashchim through creative arts, music, and community storytelling — keeping traditional crafts and narratives alive for the next generation.
